Omar is from a small town in South Carolina where he grew up and found the desire for science and theatre. Theatre won that battle. He found himself getting immersed in acrobatics, theatre and gymnastics. His path brought him to California by way of Florida and Singapore. When landing in LA he continued his theatre performances in the Waterworld Stunt Show, burlesque with Toil and Trouble, horror shows with Fuzzybottoms Theater Company and comedy with Santasia. Chey has been performing for as long as he can remember. Growing up Southern California, he has almost completed the SoCal theme park circuit, where he has performed in everything from character costumes and parades to stage shows and improv roles. That path led him to live and perform in Japan where he was able to climb Mt Fuji with his father and would love to do that with his two kids. Speaking of kids, it’s hard to believe that the first year Santasia went to NY was the year his daughter was born (she had just turned 2 weeks) – 10 years ago!
